Steem Price
OK, things are certainly not looking good. Steem is at $0.077 per token. At the beginning of this year it was at $0.35, so it actually has decreased around 500%. Sounds awful right. And take into account its all time high was well above $6.00, makes me think, my current holdings at ATH would have been over $15,000.00, not bad and certainly would have been a huge life saver for me. Instead we are very close to the atl which was slightly less than $0.07. So my 2500 Staked Steem are currently worth about $200.00, a huge loss from $15,000.00. Yes it is only a loss if I do sell at this price, our expectations have to be that there will be a rebound in price at some moment. So my Steem is good right were it is.
I also have about 1800 Hivestaked, but this I am powering down, I have never been able to get any traction on Hive and a 1 dollar post is the most I have ever gotten. So I am powering down there and will only continue because I send my Actifit report and I get a few cents every time. But I am not going to be posting any articles there any more, I seem to just not be the right person for Hive. I do have a problem once I power down after 12 weeks how do I sell this Hive? Before I used to be able to change it to Litecoin and a guy here in Honduras would buy it from me. I wonder if any Hive enthusiast is interested in buying it from me and sending the money to my Honduran bank. i guess I have to look at Discord for that. In any case Hive is currently at around $0.11 per token, I think I will wait and see if this price rebounds.
Now, why are these two tokens so cheap? Have huge whales been offloading big amounts of these tokens? Or is it just that crypto social networking has run its course? This would be tough for me and thousands of other people. For me because this is actually the only online endeavor that has ever given me any money and I would miss that. But it looks like something is very wrong with these tokens, the crypto market cap is huge and it does have its ups and downs but Steem and Hive have had a constant down all this year. I think a lot of money has been taken out. The
Well, nothing I can do about this, I just hope Hive's price at least doubles and let's see what Steem brings for next year.

Interesting post! It’s good to see you exploring the dynamics of STEEM’s price action. I especially liked how you pointed out the role of utility and community growth alongside pure speculation. Given recent platform developments and the broader crypto market sentiment, I agree there’s real potential for STEEM to benefit — though as always, risk management remains key. Thanks for sharing your insights!
