I created this image using GIMP. GIMP is a free and open-source graphics editor used for image retouching and editing, free-form drawing, converting between different image formats, and more specialized tasks. This is the original photo I took in Kelowna British Columbia Canada along the Okanagan Lake during the summer.
As you can see I did quite a bit to the original image. Removed mountains and water, cut back some trees and removed some objects. Played with the color and than added space effects etc.
