Steem Monsters: Gold Division!

After some great feedback and concentration, I can finally celebrate that I have achieved getting into the gold division on Steem Monsters. I ended up trading some beta cards for some reward cards given how close I was to leveling some up. This included three Splinter Summoners from the Life, Death, and Fire Splinters. But it was interesting that they did not immediately translate into more wins. I still had to be strategic in selecting my teams especially as I continue to be put against some bots playing the Life Splinter.

What I opted to do was instead of playing the same team required for my daily quest, I watched closely not only the team I was up against assuming they would play the same as their previous; but also carefully reading the rules at in order to play to its advantage. I had not done this previously because I was trying to focus on my daily quest first. Funny to consider not doing it this way actually resulted in getting the daily quest completed much quicker. In addition, it resulted in me being able get win streaks in order to get more ranking points for the leaderboard.

Only four days after I made these moves, I was able to get into the Gold Division. I was concerned about my competitiveness in this Division but quickly found that with the additional abilities on locked in this Division my teams fared quite well. I have stayed above the Gold Division and actually have climbed to the middle tier of it due to my teams doing pretty good. As the end of the season gets closer I am making a strive to see if I can reach Diamond Division for more cards but already have started to see some much stronger teams when I play.

This may be the highest that my cards get as they are now on average between levels three and four. In order to get them higher, it would take more than 20 cards to combine on average. While there may be some that I may end up buying on the market, I don’t really have the funds to level up a complete team; especially the Summoners. My thought is to continue to fuel my collection with reward cards from daily quest and seasons in order to continue leveling out my cards so that I can get into Diamond division. I’m going to focus on leveling up one Splinter at a time while this happens. Thanks to those who provided feedback in this journey!
