Steem Monsters: Collection Value is Impressive

After a lackluster season end, I have been considering a step back to evalute what I have been doing with the game as I have consistently been playing it instead of other games Inhave enjoyed in thr past, including those with great communities and friends which have grown in time. I have been on Steem for almost a year now and Steem Monsters for a couple a months as well.

The experience has been pretty cool as I have been sharing things that I like mainly around gaming as my crypto stuff took a hit when the prices went down. But the great thing about Steem is that I have created this account from scratch with no investment at all except for the time spent with my posts. This effort has given me an account value above $70 which may seem low but it os much better than my experience with Facebook and Instagram.

What has blown my mind is how by playing a game I also was able to create value; once again without any investment. I was gifted a starter pack from Steem Monsters when I started and when the Daily Quests and Seasons system started, I was able to get cards to build my collection. I have also been able to get some of the rarer cards by doing trades with friends! My collection now stands over $40 itself! That is over $100 of value with no investment!

This made me think of the potential to continue growing while enjoying my time here. I have also seen other really get some traction as well with their accounts and collections. I think the opportunity still is present and want to continue moving forward with this experiment to see where it leads. Steem Monsters will be an important part of it as gaming has always been a fun part of what I try to bring share here with the community.
