Steem Monsters: Acquiring Legendary Cards!
I continue to look for ways to improve the results of my battles within the Steem Monsters game. After a couple of days of talking with somebody in the community, I was able to tweak my collection a little bit in order to bring in and acquire some legendary cards to play with. While I needed to trade with some cards that I had acquired through the reward system, none of them I have really used. This included the new reward edition legendary cards which with the exception of the water splinter one I have never used in battle. I haven’t felt the need to use them since I traded them off
When using the newly acquired cards I noticed that in the matches that had higher mana caps, I had better results versus the past. However, I also felt that there were limited situations where I could use them without losing another important ability. I still think the most limiting factor I currently have in my collection is that my Summoner cards are lower level than my competition; especially when battling in the Gold Division. However, the prices of these cards have substantially increased over the last couple of weeks and have made the cost of upgrading prohibitive for me.
I continue to complete my daily quest and receive my season end rewards in an effort to accumulate enough cards to trade away and acquire new cards to add variability in my collection. However, one of the suggestions I have received is to start finding a Splinter that I feel more comfortable with and focus on improving that team and it’s cards. I have also been told to start playing some tournaments to see how I fare relative to others. They showed me that the majority of the tournaments are in the lower division levels which could put me at having a chance to acquire rewards. I look forward to trying some out and seeing if they help in my quest towards improving my rank and potentially trying to reach the diamond division for the first time.
