Taking on More
Challenges are something that I find myself running away from in a lot of scenarios.
When it comes to doing something new and exploring a new part of myself, I stray away from the path of resistance.
There are certain times when this is true and certain times when this isn't true.
For example, I drove all the way to the gym today, sat in the parking lot for a few minutes and then drove away.
Why did I do that? Why would I do that to myself when one of my major goals in life is to be a healthy person and to have a fit body?
Sometimes we all have our off moments and those moments in time when we feel a weird urge to just give up and leave.
I had that when I was in the gym parking lot.
I felt sick to my stomach. Tired. Irritable. Looking for any excuse to run back home and hide away in my office.
Tomorrow I am really looking forward to getting back on track with my diet and my fitness.
I'm going to wake up earlier than I've woken up in a LONG time.
It's been so long since I've gotten a good night of sleep and then awoken early the next day to accomplish some things that I've had on my to do list for a while.
Are you trying to take on more in 2019?
