Arts as Gratitude - KrazyKrista composition

As my own way to say "thank you" I decided to make this drawing in order to express my gratitude to a special lady that not only has been very nice to me in the whaleshares server as many others but also helped me complete my tokens for an early access to the Whaleshares platform. Around the time of the pre-launch, she hosted a contest for her Whaletoken. I was paying attention but for getting some information in order to do this drawing. She referred she likes Elephants, Peacocks, flowers, hearts, trees and the color pink. I meditated a bit and tried to assemble everything in this humble composition I now present.

The first is the sketch, I placed every element inside a circle like the cardinal points, to the the right the girl, felt the elephant, down the peacock and up the tree. On the center I made a rhombus, it is intended for her nickname/profile name initials. Beyond this, I placed hearts and flowers on the girl's hair and so all the elements she mentioned were part of the composition.

So I started the painting process, The sketch is made on a letter size paper. I only used crayons for this, combinating the color in order to get some similarities for real ones like in the hair, tones of yellow and brown plus white were used. The White color allows to make the colors unite when painting withi it after you place the other colors.

I went part by part till every element was painted. Since is a thin kind of paper, it was hard to keep it plain as the colors were used it got deformed a bit, it is recommended to use white opaline instead when working with crayons. Nontheless, it maintained good enough for taking the photos in order to share it through here. Also, I used another paper for combining the colors before using them on the drawing, that way I was sure of painting with them. The photos were takne with my phone, and LG g2 mini and edited with snapseed app. I transformed the final result in a .png image using powerpoint.
