SevenDaysOutside Challenge - Windows

in #sevendaysoutside6 years ago (edited)

I photographed this picture from the residential area of local Emerati in the east part of Yas island. Windows of villas here are mostly made of stained glasses and aluminum  consisting of  metal artwork painted with earthy colors to give the impression of wooden texture without the worry of it being worn down by hot or sandy weather climates.

This is my first contribution on today's theme Window Monday. The Sevendaysoutside challenge is hosted by @erikah. This is all for now. Thank you for reading.

Great entry

Thank you.

That some nice information you provided with the photo. I didn't knew this ... but it looks great. The name Gas Island was also totally unknown to me. So I've learned something new today. Thank you for sharing this photograph.

Thank you @hetty-rowan for passing by. Sorry for some typo error. That is Yas Island of Abudhabi. The island’s development project was initiated in 2006 by Abu Dhabi-based Aldar Properties, with the aim of turning the island into a multi-purpose leisure, shopping and entertainment center. Yas Island holds the Yas Marina Circuit, which has hosted the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix since 2009. You can find some attractions from this island like the famous Ferrari World Abudhabi, and Yas Waterworld.

Lovely windows.. These kind of windows and bars were everywhere in Spain.. not exactly but sometimes with very nice details too..

Mostly villas window here are with bars.

What a beautiful photo! Looks like I'm gonna have a hard time choosing the featured ones 😀

Ha ha. Thank you.

My pleasure.
