Even inside the house and just working from home, we can still be able to share the events that transpired throughout the day. Sharing to all my fellow Steemians this wonderful bonding-moment time I've had with my mom today.

Today is January 13 and This Diary Game is for yesterday January 12, 2023

I woke up at around 12 noon of January 12 and started my day. Before I rose up to bed, I prayed for a bit and thanked the Lord for giving me this another day for me to enjoy. Upon fully waking up, I felt that I still need to have more sleep but I need to do some household stuff so no matter how much I wanted to lay down on my bed, I still got up and started my day right having my coffee (even though it is already in the afternoon).

Looked for my mom in her room and she's still asleep. I just checked on her and then I was greeted by my 2 dogs Mitch and Bimbo who happened to stay in my mom's room the whole time I was sleeping. While having coffee, I checked my phone and browsed all the private messages sent to me on Facebook Messenger and on Telegram. Respond to all of it coz it's work-related matters and needed to be addressed.

I spent an hour preparing and taking my breakfast while having my coffee. I also cooked adobong manok for the whole day's meal.

I spend another hour checking on all the work-related stuff that has been pending for the day so that I'll just have less time to do my work later on.

After doing all the things that I needed to do, I finally decided to go back to sleep and just forget everything. I didn't even plan the things that I should do when I woke up later on.

I forgot what time I already slept but I was able to figure out the time I woke up last night. It was around 7pm and dang! I was feeling so envigored due to the fact that I was able to get much sleep already and ready to face another day. (I usually work in the night time here in the Philippines)

Upon waking up, I realized that my mom is already awake. She thanked me because I already cooked our meal for the whole day so she prepared a coffee for me (how sweet, right?) I got up and have a small talk with her as we decided to watch a movie. Take note, just a movie, so it's only one single movie supposedly and not yet a movie-marathon.

I also wanted to take a break from work since I could just check every tasks given to us on my mobile. So I agreed to select a movie to watch. I have a Netflix subscription so rest-assured that I am not patronizing pirated copies of the movies to support the artists in the Entertainment Industry.

Before the both of us started watching a movie, I decided to buy some stuff for us to much later on while we watch. So I went to the 7-11 store and spent around 800 Php for the food and drinks and 100 Php for the tricycle ride going to the store and back home. I also withdrawn 10,000 Php or around $200 for the rest of the month's budget.

We decided to watch John Wick as I always see this movie being suggested for me to watch by Netflix. I didn't even watch a trailer so that it will just let me get surprised if the movie is good or not on the process. It was starred by my favorite actor by the way, Keanu Reeves.

We started watching John Wick already.

I just warned my mom never ask me questions while we watch, coz she always does that as I cannot concentrate watching hahaha! I specifically told her to just watch intently and never talk to me. Yes! That's the kind of bonding moment we have, to still dwell on our own worlds even while enjoying the movie(s).

Then dang! I wasn't aware that this movie was a jampacked thrilling action movie! From start to finish my mom and I haven't gotten the chance to talk due to being so engrossed watching it.

Time for a bit of snack break

Checked a bit of my work-related tasks for a minute while I also eat fried banana prepared by mom for just a few minutes only.

Then proceed watching.

By the way, just to share what kind of audio we have while watching. It is just a set of PC speakers with a bit of a bass.

Not that too loud for us to have a surround-sound audio but this is just fine with us. We live not beyond our means.

Then we proceed watching John Wick Part 2 and 3 afterwards. We haven't tracked the time though and just enjoyed watching the super thrilling action from start to finish or each parts.

Took a break then of course... Eat!

It didn't end on John Wick and proceed with Jason Statham's War movie featuring Jet Lee.

It was not as much as action-packed compared to what my mom and I were accustomed by watching the three-parts of the movie John Wick. It has a twist that you wouldn't most-likely believe would ever happened. Yes, I definitely would recommend watching:

• John Wick (Pat 1, 2, and 3) Starred by Keanu Reeves with awesome set of co-stars including Halle Berry
• War by Jason Statham and Jet Li

We almost spent 8 hours watching mo0vies because we also watched "The Transporter - Refueled". Not much to recommend though but it's nice to see a not so-popular actor continuing the franchise of the Transported originally starred by Jason Statham.

A diary game should also mean to be shared even just staying at home. Thank you so much for reading till this part and see you the next time.

Key take-away for the day: Make sure to have a bonding moment with your parents or loved ones at least once a week. Enjoy every moment being spent with them so we won't have any regrets in the future when they're already gone.
