I like DTube and am also fond of LBRY, but View.ly has something much more going for it in my eyes. The main feature being:
"The Patreon Killer".
Unlike DTube, which works very similar to Steemit, View.ly is going to allow people to regularly contribute to their favorite content producers. This is something that I think will be a real game changer.
Sure this possible if you regularly tipped a user via Steemit, but allowing to set and forget it is much more user friendly. But there are also:
Private Channels
Creators enjoy stable, recurring income by providing access to their special catalogue of content to their most loyal fans. Its like Patreon meets Netflix.
I absolutely love this idea!
The contribution idea is a fantastic idea, but having exclusive content in a private channel sounds even better!
I haven't put out much video content myself, mainly because I've yet to see the benefit of posting to YouTube or other places, but features like this make me want to get into creating more visual content.
