HF20 update: The Voting Power Bug is fixed!

Hi Steemians, today I have noticed that the bug with our Voting Power is fixed now and if you are voting something, the SP is not going down dramatically anymore.

Here are some screenshots of my test for this bug:

After I already voted for some articles, my Voting Power was still 82,67 % as I can see on steemnow.com for example and here is a Screenshot of voting another article to show you that the bug is really fixed:

After voting for this article with 100%, my Voting Power only went down to 80,99% instead of to 20-30 % like in the last days:

Thanks to the Steemit Inc. team for fixing this bug, as you promissed on the official @steemitblog and I'm very excited to see all the new benefits of the Steem Blockchain Hardfork20 with the name "Velocity", when it's fully completed!

Another update I have noticed is that we are earning Steem Dollars as post rewards again and not only Steem & SP.

Appreciate the update @future24; as a very small Steemit, this is my first day to try to post anything since all my numbers more or less "fell off a cliff" a few days ago. I figured it was probably wisest to just let the dust settle and not worry too much. Now comes the fun part of seeing whether or not this update resulted in real change to the way people use Steemit, or was is just "cosmetic" for the most part.

I'm sure important things happened from the technology end, but will the end user like me feel anything different?

Still waiting another estimated six hours for mine to get back to 100% before testing. But very glad to see it now working for others! I did notice my resource credits take a few points hit when I claimed rewards this morning. It seemed to regenerate fairly quickly, but thought that was interesting new behavior.

Wait, isn’t a 100% vote from 100% VP supposed to only reduce your VP by 2%?

We get 100% split over 5 days, with 10 votes we can make each day within that. That means we lose 2 x 10 x 5 over the 5 days for a total of 100%.

I think they’re still working on it. Mine is going down much less than yours. I don’t think the bug ever affected me.

Well at least if it is, where you're looking at your stats is different than where I am, and is counting differently. I've been upvoting plenty (more than a single 100% upvote in combination this morning) and I haven't dropped to 80% yet. And I wasn't even at 100% when I started.

I suppose one of the trackers could track 20% coming off each time and then have it go back up by 20% every hour or so. That would be the same daily effect. I didn't think they worked like that though, and I'm not seeing that on my account looking at steemd and steem supply.
