SCOT is taking steem to the next level...!

Few days ago, I have read about SCOT, a technology developed by team @aggroed, it will temporarily take the place of SMT since it is delayed once again.

Now, reading about the new announcement about SCOT which will be going live in a few days from today makes me feel excited but disappointed at the same time. I totally excited about SCOT ("SMT") being a reality however, the slow progress from Steemit Inc's SMT development team is the one that is giving me the disppointment. Anyway, I wouldn't try to make this post to sound how badly they perform, instead I will just focus on the good things that will come our way. Thanks to SCOT we will see how SMTs could help steem in general.

Both SCOT & Scotbot will work for a community in terms of distributing the community's native token similar to how Steempeak, Steemit, & Busy do for steem token. So, it's basically providing the same functionality as what SMT should do for the steem community.

Of course, it will come with a cost for the set-up and running of Scot bot but, if you think about it, some projects or communities are having beneficiary rewards out of your post using their interface so it is still the same thing. And you get to enjoy the use of their interface and you probably earning more through their rewards distribution so, it's still a win for everyone.

What I'm looking forward about SCOT is the realization of the idea of SMT and the confidence that it provide to communities to create their own tokens and allow the distribution of it. Who knows, the community token might followed the lead of Hunt tokens who is having a real world value and are now listed to an exchange for liquidity.

What seems to be an idea has been brought to life and it only makes feel excited on how the communities will adopt and bring SCOT to the masses.
