Cityscape Panosphere [Marina Bay]

in #photography7 years ago

About a week ago, I had a chance to feature the panoramic view of Moscow that was shot by @neony, it can be found in the 21st edition of Photocircle. The photograph is beautiful with all the modern buildings and the golden warm light. It was delightful to look at and so I was inspired by it.

I recalled that I also did a panoramic shot of the Marina Bay area, it was shot on midday and it covered a long wide stretch of the view. Since it is a panoramic shot, it will be difficult to view.

Without further ado... here is the panosphere shot!

The idea of "panosphere" came to me as playful solution to view the pano shot that I have. It transforms the simple pano shot into an otherwordly view of Marina bay area. It is basically "a whole new world". Lol

The pano shot version is this:

See you on the next post!

Cheers!

cool! what camera did you use to take the pano?

Camera? You don't even ask how the building was constructed. Was it a flying rocket made inform of a building? Or it was fighting with gravity? Because I don't quite sure this is a building. I guessed it is an aircraft. This is my opinion!!!

i've been to Singapore and seen those in person.. that's why i'm interested more in the tool more than anything.

Very cool.. I like how the shadows from the buildings lead back to the center. Did it take long to turn it into the panosphere?

Not that much, photoshop did all the heavy work :D I just twick some of the default settings and experiment a bit.
I think this is a cool way to make pano shots interesting :-)
