City skyline view [17th Urban explore]

in #photography8 years ago (edited)

I have always enjoyed viewing the vastness of the city, at a high altitude, I can almost see the edge of it.

The modern structures at present allow us to reach the height that were once limited in the early years of our existence.

Did you know that the skyscrappers of today were only made possible because of the invention of lift or elevator.

It's obvious to think that none of us, in a sane mind, would be able to go up and down to a multi storey building without the means of a lift / elevator.

A tall building may seem highly technical and really difficult to build, however due to the existing examples from nature, we are able to visualize the design and future challenges that the builders will have to face. One of the best examples that nature brought to us is the Termite mound, which I personally think as the mini version of the modern skyscrapper.

Great shots of the cityscape. I love the idea of past architects scratching their heads over how people could manage to get up and down the giant buildings haha. Also where were these taken?

This were shot in Singapore, showing mostly of the Marina bay area :)
That's true, that's should be the most difficult problem they face during that time :D
Thanks for dropping-by.

The buildings look very unique, you’ve done well to capture them in a way that show their ingenious design! Followed to see more great pics keep them coming :)
