Abstract Sunday

"I'm fascinated by the simplicity of abstract photography."

In this picture, I took the National Library Singapore as my subject. It is for a simple reason that it has the perfect shape & lines for my intended style. There are so many options that I can choose from the facade of the building & wall paneling of the interior walls. But for this day, I would like to showcase the ceiling which looks like a labyrinth.

One of the interesting part of this view are the reflective surfaces. It creates an illusion of space, it makes the area much bigger than reality. The reflective surfaces also help in distributing the illumination from the skylight. The enhanced light gives this scene a delightful majestic look.
