4 Ways To Change Your Mood

It is not possible to keep good mood every time. There are times when a person feel low, stressed and unhappy; there could be any reason for it that may include breakup, inappropriate sleep and different for different people. The bad mood may force you to have a bad and unhappy day. You would probably want to swing your mood and have a good and fulfilled day instead. One of the toughest part to change your mood is you would not want to try anything to improve it because it is very hard to do a thing when you are not interested in doing that. There are some things that may drastically change your mood for good.


Listen To Music and Dance 


Music is one of the best therapy that you can get at any instant and you don’t need to be a professional dance to express your feelings. In a very bad mood it is really hard to dance but once you start it, you will go with the flow. You will truly enjoy the feeling and this will definitely sweeten your mood. If you got a thought of having a bad day, just stop doing anything, plug in the music and go into Nirvana, move your body like you want. Let you body and mind be free of any tension that you have been feeling so far.  



Go Outside And Interact 


A study shows that in most of the cases the bad mood is because of confinement and lack of interaction. Going outside of your house, office or some other places can greatly help you to become less stressed and happy. It will not only change your mood but also increase productivity. Going out can greatly improve your mood but to truly take off your load, you need to share your feelings with your friends, family and closed ones. Sharing your inner thoughts can reduce the mental stress and hence you feel more free and happy. 



Sweet and Favourite Food 


Each and every person has some sort of food choice that they would want to eat. According to psychological study, having your favourite food helps to take of stress and change your point of attention. While having food, try to have your favourite sweet food and drinks like ice cream, milk tart, castella, Pina Colada and more. Sweet food helps in the generation of energy and helps you to become stress free. It seems like a small thing to do but it has got some great impact in changing your mood.  



Change Your Psychology 


It might be one of the toughest thing to do but once you have learned about psychology and how you can control it, you can conquer anything. We will actually be what we have always wanted to be. It takes some real guts to go opposite of your thoughts and think beyond that. If you think deeply about the fact that why you are having a bad day?, I am sure you wouldn’t find a very convincing and satisfying reason. Think logical and do what is necessary.

You would expect laughter to always follow feeling joy, but the opposite can be done: you can act out laughing, and eventually you will feel better because of laughing. It's the reverse effect. There was a study in which groups of people watched the same film. One group had to keep a pencil in their mouth in a way the mouth would be when laughing. This group had the most positive reviews of the film in the category 'funny'.

What helps me to change my mood: read a piece of the Tao Te Ching and I feel relaxed and at ease. Read a piece of Nietzsche, and I feel as if I can take on the whole world. :)

I have bad moods very very rarely since I can control my thoughts rather well. Meditation helped me a lot to form this ability.
