Well after some green weeks, a red week was due! And I do know the reason for this. I did buy new coins with fiat money in the past week. It appears that lady fortuna didn't like this action.

New additions

Steem

Yes, I did purchase some steem to power up partly and to use it to mine some dice tokens. In total I did buy a little more than 91 steem.
Also 250 more steem was bought but that is needed to buy a part of Steem-bet.

Etheruem

I also planned to finnaly own 1 Ethereum and with the current prices we are almost there. Half an Etheruem was added to the portfolio. Probably I can go over 1 Etheruem this week, when I do sell some SCRs.

EOS

EOS seem to be outperforming most top coins this year, so it was time to prepare my portfolio for the/a bull market and 8 more EOS was added to the portfolio. This is the only purchase of the past week which is in the green.

Winners and losers

Last week we had only 2 coins in the red. This week is a different week.

As you can see only 2 coins in the green. Coss and SPF did grow a little bit. I do think that Elixir will be one of the coins who won't survive this year. Week after week it is going South. This week another decline of 55% has been written in the books.
If we do look at the performance compared with the beginning of the year, then we still have only 2 coins in the red. No surprise that these are Scorum and Elixir.
On the other side we still have Eos and KCS who have doubled up or more. Our beloved Steem is still outperforming most coins.

Portfolio share

Last week top 3:

• Steem: 31,01%
• BTC: 20,49%
• NEO: 10,57%

I do expect that EOS will be very close to the top 3 again. This with the purchase of fresh EOS and the fact that it performed better then NEO in the past week.

This week top 3:

• Steem: 29,99% (-1.02%)
• BTC: 21,15% (+0.66%)
• EOS: 10,95% (+1.55%)

It is great to see that more and more coins are battling for the third place. In the past 3 week we did have NEO, KCS and EOS switching positions. But if the trend continues it will be hard to surpass EOS, it is third now and it looks that in stead of looking backwards it wants the second position of BTC in the portfolio!

Overall

After 3 weeks of going up, we now have a week in which the overall value goes down. Without the new additions the decrease would have been bigger. But also if I would have taken the snapshot this morning in stead of last night it would have been a different story. This shows hwo valitile the crypto market still is.
