Right now we have thirteen teams in the fold.

Which means we are about ready to roll.

Have not heard back from last year's champ what stank?. It'd be nice to see him emerge, but it gets less likely by the day. Within maybe a day or so we'll have to just open up his spot.

There is still space, very most likely. We'll have a clearer picture soon, but almost definitely there is still room for 1 or 2 more.

Next step is collecting buy-ins..

And for that matter, deciding what currency to use. There was some talk of doing it in BTC, but some feedback on the league page that between transfer fees and blahblah, it could be kind of annoying.

So we'll nix the BTC idea. And I propose 2 things:

We use Leaguesafe (https://www.leaguesafe.com/) and the buyin is $20 USD.
We collect buyins in SBD (SBD exchanges to about $0.85 right now, so we'll say the buyin will be 24 SBD), and I hold it in the savings of my wallet.

And a corollary to the 2nd one is, we can convert the buyin to BTC at any time if everyone wants to and there are no objections, and I can hold it on Bitshares as open.btc for peace of mind to see that it's there at all times.

So let me know. Collect in SBD (and perhaps convert to BTC or anything else from there) is probably simplest. If people don't mind making a Leaguesafe account, and want to avoid risk of me holding it, then we go that way.
