To be honest, I think this one is going to be very profitable and very soon. You really should join their telegram community and you would understand why, but basically the biggest fear people have about crypto is the fact that there is no recourse for action if it's lost or stolen. Imagine if an exchange had one of these agreements setup with the public, it would immediately have an edge over every exchange that did not. This applies to basically every business doing transactions through crypto.

Yeah you really should look into it. You don't have to take my word for it. Even though they didn't officially announce it, it's available as public knowledge on their telegram channel that JOT is going to be traded on IDEX and eventually Poloniex shortly after in the coming weeks.

If that is true, then this is most likely how it will play out. Those who purchased during this 8 days will get the 30% bonus and those who purchase during the crowdsale will get it for the rate. Because you will be able to trade JOT for ETH on IDEX, you have to assume whatever people have them for the 30% will immediately sell to get that 30% profit on ETH, but that will set the price. The volume will be low so it will be vulnerable to manipulation and many will buy back in as the price goes down. The project does seem extremely sound and the developers seem to know what they are doing I saw that Q&A, but you have to imagine that until the platform is up and functioning JOT will rise and fall based entirely on speculation of the project. There is absolutely a lot of value to be made for these early adopters now (probably much more than the 5x you mention) but MAYBE only for a few weeks tops. Unless when that first price jump forces people to do research they actually like what they see. THE ACTUAL PRICE RUNNING IN THE BEGINNING due to the difference between the pre-ico holders and the crowdsale holders would have to draw enough interest that it creates trade volume.
