It was a beautiful day to take a hike, and Stacie D (@freedomtowrite) knew it was just what we needed. She came outside and told me that we were going on an adventure, so I threw on my sandals and jumped in the van.

Today I would like to share a couple of shots of the adventure.

I love watching Stacie D enjoying nature. I caught here stooping down and catching a picture of a beautiful flower. It was pretty, but not quite as pretty as the photographer!

I had a great time hiking with my best pal George. He is a bit of a pistol, but he is always a good time.

We also saw this amazing tree. I have always heard that native Americans would bend these trees to point toward water, and they would tie some sort of cordage to pull it down. That's how it forms that knob. So It looks like this one could be legit!
