I woke up with a wild idea about prayer. The idea that maybe we pray the way we were taught.......and were we taught the "right" way....is it about direction, perspective, or heart?
Very thought provoking video. I think it's awesome that you're questioning who to pray too. I believe most Christians only follow man-made traditions. We need to be in the word and studying to learn what the Bible says. Not just what we have been taught by man
Yes!! I get excited abiut the idea of seeing something differently. I this case, this is something that I have nevee questioned. 20 years of not really thing about it but just doing it.
Great stuff! My understanding is to pray in the Spirit, through Jesus, to the Father. To if someone or something is put on my heart that is from the Spirit. And it is my job to act on that immediately. You know it does say to pray in all circumstances ALL the time.
When times are bad and things are very heavy I talk to God.......one on one......we have a very good give and take thing going on...... I pour my heart out to him to get comfort when needed most.
He, when He needs, will ask? compel? me to do something for Him.
Sometimes I'm tired when he asks and I whine a tad loll but I always know when it's very important and needs to be done NOW! He's not good at giving you days to do something by the way LOLL or he knows I like to procrastinate :D I think both are true there.
As for Jesus, I try and live like he taught every day. No, I'm far from perfect adn will be the first to say so but kindness to all goes a long way.
So to keep this short I will say that for everyday things it's Jesus I turn to but for the Big whammy I then speak directly to God.
But the Earth gives me grounding when I need it most so hugging trees, yes, really, and talking to them as they are God's creatures too, Gives comfort to me too.
I was brought up by both parents that are more Catholic than the Pope and yes, a lot of what I think comes from that but I'm grateful for that as it gave me a beginning place to start.........and then as I got older and miracles happened to me I came to my own conclusions.
Oh and BY the way........Guardian Angels are a Hoot! :D in case you didn't know!
and now that I wrote a book on your post can I make one suggestion please. Go back to your original video you made, the unhurried one and make two parts next time.........
God should never be rushed and your thoughts were on point but trying to cram all of that in in 5 minutes your original thoughts from God are lost.
*the last is just my opinion :D
Thank You for this and sorry to see someone downvoted you! I will be back tomorrow to Vote and by the way.......Your Freewrite was Great too!!!
Oh and your Wife ..........is a Hoot! and YOU Sir are One very, very, very Lucky man! LOLLL
Interesting, Personally feeling close to the Creator or the Entity, Source or the All as some like to refer to the Creator is the best thing. Feeling close as if I am embodying the Creator gives me the connection at the moment of "praying" to make something good out of a situation and yes it opens up a great deal of possibilities for miracles to take place, some refer to this as connection as well. Feeling not separate but one with what you are praying to is the key according to my experience, then the divine spark listens and answers to our calls.
Thank you @snook. I am really glad you gave such an amazing comment. I agree God can not be rushed. I try not to get caught up on downvotes. If someone didn't like it, it was probably the content they didn't like.
-I think seer belief and acceptance is what makes the prayer powered up.
-If one has even the slightest of doubts or if they are praying out desperately then they are not going to see any results.
-Most belief systems have praying and when the individual truly believes and is accepting of their current reality but will for something to happen, then the miracle takes place.
-From my personal and friend's experience miracles are very much a real deal.

Since you mention the Bible I found this very fascinating, by the way they remove it from the modern bibles for reasons I am not sure of, here it is:
(Jesus replied, "Truly I tell you,
if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.)
I like how enlightened people speak in a way that has many meanings and they are so good with it. Basically he had a way of speaking which indicated many things (which all things he meant not just one thing).
I did research along all religions and belief systems simply to uncover how a miracle can be done and take place.
I found out that all these beings we pray to are a part of the source or creator so therefore we are so therefore we pray from within to within (kingdom is within) so we are able to embody it.
Actually some of the people out there indeed do not understand miracles, I do not see them as supernatural at this point they are totally normal to me. Especially Synchronizations are so fascinating in real life because they are tangible and seem like coincidences but here it is! a miracle right there! "dont you see it?".
Which reminds me of this:
"You don't have enough faith," Jesus told them. "I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible."
Lovely words and on Point.
By the way "Faith" does not mean "Hope", it means trust. Similarly to how we have to trust in ourselves to do anything in life.
So much truth, sometimes misinterpreted.
Not to confuse his teachings with culture and religion. I remember being multiple religions around some his teachings.
Anyhow,
That is pretty in depth, thank you. I love the idea that you believe that the things we pray to are all part of the source. I have a similar theory that I might do a video on.

I love your perspective! I think it is important to question...if anything it makes use really know what we think we know. 🙃
But we've never done it that way before. LOL!

Prayer is the only weapon a believer has in his hand to fight his enemies
