Steem On The Farm

Being what I consider a full time Steem user, I am always looking for ways to participate. I am a content creator, a community founder, a business owner, and a radio show host. That certainly makes for a full plate. 

Not only do I work full time in a digital sense, but I am also a farm hand in Northern Michigan. The weather finally broke and it has been time to cut, rake, and bale hay.

I'm not sure how many of you may be familiar with the process, but you have to time it perfectly. It has to be cut at the beginning of a try period. Then it has to be raked and flipped as many times as it needs to dry out. Then it is time to bale. If the grass is too wet when you bale it, it could heat up and catch fire while sitting in your barn. Yikes!

Today was a beautiful afternoon on the tractor. I was raking all of the fields to prepare for it to be baled tomorrow. I could pass up an opportunity to listen into a radio show on The Ramble. It was Words With Witty!

There were many guests all together in the same place. They are all in Colorado for a Steem Alliance Meetup! I got to hear @enginewitty @snook @mariannewest @dreemsteem and some others that popped in.

I love that people create ways to come together in the physical world and try to really get to know each other. I know that Stacie D (@freedomtowrite) and I  have loved getting to meet other users. 

So This shot is me out on the tractor today raking hay and listening to the radio show on discord. I may have physical world responsibilities, but I know that the digital work on the blockchain is going to shape the future.
