Divas at dawn

The girls wanted me to take a picture of their meal and take selfies to share on social media...divas.
It has been a beautiful morning here on the farm. We are in Northern Michigan, and it really does not seem like winter. It is hanging in the 30's and 40's Fahrenheit. We have about another week before the highs drop down into the 20's and teens. Then it will be proper winter time, and hopefully some proper snow.
We have moved the hay right out to the west pasture in hopes to fertilize the ground. Before the farmer bought the farm, the previous owner stripped the top soil and sold it...yep that is a thing. So now the pastures have grass, but not like they should be. I recommended that we start to scrape and and move the manure now and that way we will be out ahead of the season in the spring.
It sounded like a good idea to me, but then the farmer had a different idea. We moved the hay right and then put a bale in it. Each day that I go out to add a bale I will push the ring a bit further. That way we will slowly make our way all over that pasture and it will cover the ground with old hay and manure. Sounds like a solid plan to me.
So this post today is a test. I have noticed that Appics has been allowing people to make a post with one picture and then only one line of text. I don't mind that, I think we should all be free to post what we want.....BUT I have also noticed that people have been downvoting for similar style posts and calling them crap posts. So I don't really know what people are thinking with Appics allowing people to create "crap posts" everyday. I hope this will change things and let the rest of us share our lives without fear of people calling our lives and styles of content crap.
Be well
