Weekly Curation Report by Team Millionaire - Week 3
The "Team Millionaire" has completed its curation for the third week of October under the community curator program. Throughout the week, we have been committed to curating contests across the platform through the curators scheduled for each of those days of the week. Adequately following the rules and percentages of upvotes as highlighted in our guideline at the beginning of this journey.
That said, we have not limited our curation to contests alone but have properly rewarded contest winners in ended contests, likewise, the contest winners' announcement article as published by the organizers. In addition, we have also supported genuine comments across the contests we have come across during the week.
In essence, the resource of SC03 was sufficiently utilized even more than it was in previous weeks because we now have enough contests and contest winners' articles suitable for curation. Let's take you through the stats of our curation over the just-ended week
Stats of Curation
We have checked a total of 162 articles in the last week while only 134 of them were curated. The remaining number, 28, that was ignored is due to non-compliance with the club status and others. Basically, not complying with some of the basic rules of our curation.
A total 134 votes were distributed among 103 authors throughout the week which reveals that some authors appeared more than once depending on their contest activities on the platform.
Communities
We have curated articles in several communities during the week and the number of those we visited amounts to 32 communities in total.
Tags
The total number of tags for the articles we curated during the just-ended week was 37.
Nationalities
We have users from different parts of the world on the platform and for the week, we have upvoted publications from a total of 14 countries, while one was unspecified.
Club Status
For this section, we would be sharing the vote distribution according to the club status, while #club5050 dominated the space for the week.
Comments
We have been able to support a total of 26 quality comments throughout the week.
Activity Report by the Curators
Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16
This was my second curation in team Millionaire so your goes my feedback:
I review total of 15 posts including comments, contest organisers and winners of the contest and voted 12 posts( including comments)
2 -3 posts were ignored because some of them was either bot users or lacks the criteria required for support.
It is the third curation of mine and after reviewing 15-16 articles I voted including some contest winners and 1 comment.
Monday, October 17
In this third week I had the opportunity to perform the Monday curation.
For this day I included the publications of the results of contests, for healing. And we agreed in the team to raise the percentage of votes to the winners' posts.
We hope that this will increase the enthusiasm of the contest creators as well as the participants.
I made 23 votes and 1 publication was skipped for not participating in any club, I left the observation in a comment.
I am still suggesting to contest creators that they do not ask to add beneficiary accounts as part of the contest rules.
It is important for contest creators to use the tag: contest. And limit this tag to contests in order to locate them more quickly.
Tuesday, October 18
In my third week of curatorial work, I have been able to review many entries, both contests and contest winners. I truly believe that the team has been able to reach out to many communities and encourage the creation of quality contests. The improvement, in my opinion, has been very noticeable. People now care more about creating quality content for steemit.
This day I reviewed 34 posts, of which I could only vote for 31 because some did not comply with the rules set by the curation team. One of the winners of a contest made an entry with low quality and for that reason it was not voted by me.
This week I was able to vote 15 entries from club5050, 10 from club75 and 6 from club100, plus 9 quality comments. It has been a great day and I am happy because this week's goals were met.
Wednesday, October 19
My curation for the week was actually a great one as I was able to maximize the use of the SC03 resources to curate new contests, result' announcements, and winners in ended contents.
The growth of new contests on the blog has been quite impressive to this day. I have checked 26 entries and only 20 were upvoted. The reasons for skipping these articles were reasons like club status complications and low quality.
A winner in one of the contests was skipped for the low quality of his entry, planting trees should save the world not destroy some of the existing structures humans have built. The ingenuity was spotted and the contest organizer was called to pay attention to stuff like that.
For the week, I have curated 3 articles in #club100, 8 in #club75, and 9 in #club5050. It was a great curation day.
Thursday, October 20
On Thursday, October 20, 2022 a total of 23 posts curated. while the remaining 4 contents should be skipped because:
- Not part of the club Status: 3 posts
- Not Eligible: 1 Post
Posts that have been curated when viewed from:
- Countries : Indonesia (5), Nigeria (1), Bangladesh (5), Venezuela (11), South Africa (1)
- Club Status : club100 (6), club75 (8), club5050 (9)
- Steem Entrepreneurs (1), Steem For BetterLife (6), Steem Indonesia (1), Steem Venezuela (1), Steem-Database (1) , Steemit Iron Chef (5), SteemKids (1), World of Xpilar ( 6), WOX Sports (1).
As in the previous report, I convey that every post that is supported by SC03 is guided by the provisions that have been officially published by the Millionaire Team. 1 The post that is determined as the winner of the contest has passed the claim reward period so that it is not supported.
Friday, October 21
- As part of the third week that had passed between Saturday October 15 and Friday October 21, 2022, my turn of curation was on Friday, within the Millionaire team to detect and vote for the best competitions proposed by communities or through individual initiatives by some users, and both efforts were rewarded in different percentages depending on the quality of the competition and the status of the club to which it belongs, as were the posts that won these contests.
- The statistics for the week were a little high compared to the past weeks, 18 posts and 3 comments were upvoted, so I skipped 11 posts for not respecting the conditions of participation such as at least belonging to #Club5050, or exceeding the voting time estimated at 7 days, in particular for winning publications in competitions, or for the repetition of the same context for the competition.
- Most of the winning publications came from Bangladesh and then from Pakistan.

The top post chosen by me is a contest which focuses on the empowerment of women and the reason for choosing it was the contest being a comment contest where the participants can give their views on the topic in the comment section and delegation of steem powers were kept as rewards.

A contest with a very important theme, "children", I think it is important to learn to consider children as what they are, our next generation and that we must give them all our love, they are beings full of light and deserve a good education, love, attention and good care.
Currently in the world we have seen how many children are abused and mistreated, I think these are actions that should be punished and of course should not happen. Learn to have a greater awareness and to value human beings more, whether they are children or adults.
It is a contest that complies with the rules established by the team, it has a good introduction, an important theme, well established rules, a good number of entries so far and good prizes for the participants.

The article selected to take the spot for today was the one created to spread awareness of breast cancer as regards its prevention, to celebrate people who fought the battle against the disease and won, and to remember those that lost their lives to the battle.
The contest expects participants to share their stories about someone they know, their status, and if they have left the world. It's quite a genuine piece that goes a long way to allowing people to share their heartfelt about those they love/loved. The first article considered for this day has received support earlier as such we settled for this.

In organizing the contest, it is hoped that creative ideas will be born from the contest organizers so that they can stimulate potential participants to get involved and produce quality content.
This is the background for choosing the best post today, the author tries to come up with a new idea for the contest he released, he took the topic "Contest: Story in Pictures", this is an interesting subject for me because the organizers expect pictures and stories to represent each other, when the reader sees the picture, he will be able to guess the content of the written story.
On the other hand, participants are expected to be able to open their imaginations in developing content according to the uploaded images, look exclusive and attract readers' interest.
Then the organizers provide rewards as a form of appreciation to the contestants in the form of Steem Power (to maintain steem stability) and curation support from the booming.
I think it is ideal to be submitted as one of the best posts among the best posts that I have curated and received support from SC01 and came out of the best nominations

The competition highlighted the practice of street photography is a priori extremely simple: all you have to do is leave your home and press the shutter button. However, engaging in this process is not so simple.
Beyond the considerations around the legal framework of the discipline, the street photographer questions himself above all about the legitimacy of the approach. It is indeed not natural to photograph in public. The street photographer will have to fight the fears to which the practice exposes him, while adopting a personal ethic, respectful of the dignity of each person and of his own sensitivity.
I wish a good experience to all participants by respecting these instructions.
And this is our report for the third week in October. You can take a look at our activities record via this - Week 3. Thank you.
