Vintage Photos - Hyderabad

The city of Hyderabad is rich in history, culture and ofcourse cuisine. I have been a big fan of the city especially since I don't reside there. The iconic Charminar is a buzzing business area now and its been a hub for all the business even during the Nizam's(King) rule.

Glimpse of the older city is on display at various museums and vintage photos indeed tell tales about the life of earlier residents of Hyderabad.

In the below photo we can see a big fountain, Charminar and also Mecca Masjid. Shops are lined up, probably they were selling bangles back then ? I don't know the details. People with more knowledge can throw up the details.

Another interesting photo taken during the Hyderabad Nizam's visit to Egypt(Pyramid) along with his convoy. These are priceless gems which we pass down to our future generations to know about the life of people during the last century.
