I joined Steemit 2 years ago. Precisely I signed up on February 2018. Since i was not properly mentored by anyone, it took me some months to properly figure out how the platform works. • Require Email 2FA for Withdrawals: This is another industry-standard security feature. When this is set, withdrawal of funds are allowed only after the user confirmed the transaction in their email.

3. Quick, Responsive support: This feature is crucial especially for new users. The Poloniex support staff are always on ground to attend to any difficulties that may arise from using the platform. Recently, one of Steemalive community member @eberechi10 made a mistake while trading Bitcoin for Steem on Poloniex. He wanted to participate in SPUD4STEEM. When he could not get his funds back as a result of errorneous username entered, the support staff quickly came to his aid. In a matter of two days, it was fully resolved. This is a recent testimony to the efficient support services at Poloniex.

4. Low fees: The trading fees on poloniex are considerable lower, although it also depends on the user level and the activity each trader is engaging in. My experience using Poloniex

It has been a great journey using Poloniex in the last 2 years. I have made several transactions and continue to use it especially, trading Bitcoin for Steem. As a community leader, I continue to recommend it as a way to buy Steem for SteemAlive members. Through my recommendations, @ngoenyi used it to trade Bitcoin for Steem, which she powered up during September edition of SPUD4STEEM. For this month, @eberechi10 also used it to trade some Bitcoin for steem which he planned to use for November SPUD4STEEM, although he made a mistake that was later resolved.
