Introduction

Time flies really fast, they say its relative. Yes it moves fast when you are busy. I welcome you team to my report as a CR for Nigeria. Its work, work work. I try very much to support authors from my country. As the head of a community that is fully into promotion and recruitment, my hand is always full. So here are the things I did in the last 7 days which ended on 29/11/2021.

1. Facebook Sponsored ads

Nigeria uses Facebook than any other social media. So if you want the largest audience, find them on Facebook. I run ads for recruitment every week. In fact, I have an on-going ad campaign that only stops when the money runs down. So last week, I increased the budget so as to reach a bigger audience. Those that saw my ads are funnelled to a Whatsapp group where I run classes for them. Below is the Writing sponsored Job Ad that has been ongoing on my Facebook business page

2. Mentorship Classes on Whatsapp

The Facebook Ads come with an important element which the link to join a Whatsapp class. This is an important way I organize interested people and run classes for them. Within the last 7 days, I did 3 major classes as new people join. I also update older members with guides on how to continue making progress in the achievement tasks. As at yesterday, this mentorship classes has 40 members. A good number are really doing well with their content publishing.

3. A new graphics to promote the classes

As people gather in the whatsapp groups, I need to let them know when a particular new set of entrants will have their presentation. To make things unique, I usually design a simple banner that will captivate the interest of the viewer and also pass the message along. So for last week, here is a banner I designed which I used to announce the class I held on 29th November for a fresh set of applicants.

4. Curation activities

Being the admin of a community that is fully into promotion, we have more than 10 new users join us on an average. This is something really interesting. To support them have not been so easy. But I am trying my best. We continue to grow our community curation account which has more than 700 followers now. These are the accounts I use in supporting community members. Lets see their CSI

5. Ongoing Mentorship

I constantly guide newbies on so many things from how to format posts, write in communities to doing contests and explaining steem power. The number of messages and calls I get from newbies and even older members are many. Am happy to be in this position to help many new users understand the platform and discover the success secrets. Here are some of the newbies that joined and are doing well.
