Making Lunch A Quality Meal And Delicious
More Colors And A Very Tasty Lunch
Last time I shared about lunch and colors I achieved 3 or maybe 4 colors. This time I made all 5 colors without counting my hummus. You are supposed to eat 5 colors of fruits and vegetables. Did it today. Green beans and celery are both green. These carrots are yellow,orange, and purple. They are really good tasting also. Dates are brown. This fruit provides a lot of nutrition also. And the hummus is made from raw garbanzo beans that are first soaked for 24 hours. For Vegetarians and Vegans, this is a protein and for those who eat only raw, it is not cooked.
When I serve hummus at the night meal, I like to serve it with fresh hot pita bread, but lunch is a good time to get my veggies.
