This combo is much scarier than I anticipated
So far I have played every Resident Evil which was released with a few exceptions of some console exclusives.
Resident Evil 4 is in my opinion one of the best single player games ever made and was definitely the best one when it was released 2005.
So you can say I am a fan.
I also enjoyed games like Silent Hill and Evil Within. I apparently enjoy getting a bit scared in the safety of my home while holding a controller.
I tried the VR the first time a couple of weeks ago and lucky for me I could buy it pretty cheap as I enjoyed the experience quite a bit but I had just played a couple of mini games or demos but it was impressive.
So I was looking forward to play my first proper game with the VR. I mean VR + a game series I really like, what can go wrong there....
The gaming experience is great. Walking around in the house looking, at creepy old pictures and having an uncomfortable feeling someone is waiting behind the next corner is one of the most immersive gaming experience I ever had in my around 30 years gaming career.
And this is kind of the "problem", it is fucking scary...I am not certain yet if it is too scary but I had enough after 30 minutes and I did not even saw an enemy yet but they gave me healthpacks so I expected one will be coming soon and I don`t feel like facing one now.
I had to turn off one game before around 20 years ago which was Silent Hill which had me on the edge of my seat the whole time as well

but this shit is something different.
Well...I think I wrote my fear away and will give it another try...

I doubt he has any power there
