Heading out camping/climbing
Taking doggo with for some wild time off the farm. He does well in the forest and while we are climbing plus it mellows him out for awhile after each trip. We are heading up tonight to camp atop the wall with Art and then tomorrow will have all day to climb.
This is one of the objectives. The route is Comfortably Numb and is a solid mid 10s if not low 11s. The main crux is pulling the lowest roof. It goes to off hands and is super insecure. I am taping tomorrow in hopes it will help me get a better grip since the rock won't hurt as bad.
I am hoping the sweat bees will be out again. 2 weeks ago they were out but smaller, so they could be full size now. Super chill bees that wander over the skin and lap at the salty sweat and residue.
I'm not bringing my tent so I hope it doesn't rain on me over night. Not looking like it but it is the mountains.

Dang! Never heard of sweat bees before -- look very gentle.
Route sounds spicy! Been a while since I've climbing any off-widths.
The bees rule. My favorite since they are so docile.
Comfortably Numb is aptly named since your arms are numb about half way up. I have never fared well in off widths, my technique is shit. I have work to do on it still to link moves.
