Central Oregon is a great place to get away from everything. You can spend days roaming around on seemingly endless dirt roads traversing huge tracts of public land filled with beautiful scenery. These photos were taken near the John Day river.

We ran into several herds of cattle in the area. There was nothing in between the cattle and the road so every now and then we would have to stop and wait for one to get out of the way.

Vinny loves to nap while soaking up the hot sun.
