CCC Means Catastrophe, Communication, and Commitment to Me this Week Contest Entry 2.16
Catastrophe
My current wifi outage is the catastrophe part of my CCC words for this week. I have very little metered time now to get through until Friday midnight with. Now it is just past midnight on Wednesday morning, and I am doing my best.
I’m writing my posts in doc files, finding and getting photos set up, and then going in to post and check a few things each time. I seem to be able to get in and out for about 0.2 to 0.4 gigs. So I think I will make it to the end of the week.
The real catastrophe would happen if I could not post at all, so I count my blessings
Communication
I’m not communicating well with anyone, since all of my communication is online. I see comments to answer, open some of the most important, answer offline, and send them when I get back on. But I have 100’s of replies in my backlog now. It will be a busy weekend for me. Thank God for STEEMreply.
I’m also hearing from my son. He is roofless with no money and no phone, but has a laptop he can get on if he finds a signal. His ptsd is raging, his genetic heart condition is making him faint, robbing his breath, and fogging his mind. His badly sprained ankle is making it hard to walk. He has no food and is separated from his possessions.
No one he asks for help will help him and so he will not longer ask anyone for help. The rejection is too hard for him to take. Somehow he is continuing on, and I can only pray for something good to happen and nothing more in the category of bad.
Commitment
A lot of good people have lost their commitment to STEEM. It has been hard to watch and go through this with them. Bigger bloggers tell me, “This place is not for everyone” while they plan to recruit more littles not knowing how much talent we have lost in the middle and lower classes.
My commitment is still in place. I will keep trying in every way and in every place I know to do so. Someone has to be here to help the new redfish coming in and it is not going to be the people who do not know the old minnows left unless I keep begging them to help.
Most places I look have few people posting, and while this is good for me and my rewards, it is not good for STEEM. I'm glad to say I saw one place with a lot of entries today, so I am keeping hope.
I wrote a “whale tips” post on my @fitinfun blog today. It has lot of contests listed if you want to check them out.
My photo for this post is the most yummy omelette type thing I can get here in Kuala Lumpur. The egg is thin as paper and spiced perfectly. The red sauce is not ketchup, but a spicy sauce that it not too hot. And all of this is wrapping some delectable chicken fried rice that takes me two meals to eat. And I always love my cuke slices! Best $1.25 usd ever :)

Did you find the reason for your GB drainage?
How come your son cannot find help? The fact he goes on, keeps trying means he has the fighting character from you. There bus be a solution.
Might sound strange but you know completely strangers helped me out in real times of need. Not family and friends, those you expect should 🤔.
Try to combine contests if you can. You can do so with #ccc contests too. You might not get the upvote twice but you get the earning and have the chance of winning a prize.
I hope I can keep sending reminders.
I wouldn't worry that much about answering comments with some delay. They are getting fewer and some are not waiting for an answer. You know I have who respond three weeks later
Great how you exactly know when to do what, how many Steem you need and how mumany gigsou use. To be honest all this bookkeeping would drive me crazy.

I have my wifi back and no more draining, thank God, @wakeupkitty. I was in a program to find posts to curate and I think that may have been it.
My son keeps going to doctors, hospitals and clinics, but that will not help him even though he has insurance. Our heart problem is severe but hard to detect.
He said the same thing about strangers. His friends have deserted him and some people he did not know before have helped. He is my son, and so I hope his strength will come through.
I hope he meets enough strangers who will till he gets back on his feet. Happy to hear the drainage of you wifi stopped 💕
