Screaming Bird Bangkok Thailand animalphotography
This bird called me out to my Bangkok, Thailand balcony by screaming. You are seeing him at the very limit my camera can zoom. But his sound travels far. I wish I would have caught him in mid-scream, but this shot will have to do.
I was surprised to see the detail when I looked at the photo. I could not see it at the time since he was so far away. I have no idea what type of bird this is. Do you know?

I think it's time for a camera upgrade. Bet you would find even more cool things to take photos of with one that had better zoom and you would make even more here. Maybe once SBD go back up to $5 and everyone starts getting better rewards it can be on the list.
No idea what that bird it, but it's cool. The only pretty birds around here are the Cardinal and Bluejay that battle for territory in our backyards. Funny this has been happening for at least 10 years now and seems like neither has any interest in giving up our backyard. They fight each other to be able to sit on my tree. Going to have to try and video that this year as it's a sight.
We also have a woodpecker who looks nice, but is a little SOB. I'd kill him if I got a clean shot. He has put wholes in every house on this block and ruined a couple of my windows which are going to cost me $800 to replace or I'll have to do a handiman special to "repair" the damage which is what I'll do for now. This doesn't even count the trim damage he did on the garage...destructive little bird to say the least.
I had a few woodpeckers at one place I lived and I agree with you - those are some destructive birds. I miss the cardinals though. I recently saw a video on fb with hundreds of them in some lady's yard - so amazing. I've only see one of two at a time, but they are so beautiful. I will be very happy to see your video. I catch a lot of birds here but they look the other way or are just black and boring.
The worst thing about my camera is it was supposed to be an upgrade from the old one I had. I blew out the pixels with car headlights and took a lot of time to decide on this one. But the old cheaper one was much better. I can't carry a big camera with the arthritis in my hands - the awesome pos types were way out of my price range so I am making do.
As for crypto prices - I'm praying :)
I will keep my eyes open for a good small camera. We shop a lot of garage sales over the summer and live in an area where people tend to get rid of stuff that is just a couple years old because a new model came out. If I see one that is really cheap I'll grab it for you as a gift. Bet the shipping will be more then the cost of the camera...lol
Oh my goodness! You just made my day with this thoughtful idea. Thank you so much. I don't know about shipping "to here" - but "from here" is a fortune and why my son has received nothing from me in two years! I saw the rates and decided Amazon was a better bet.

Very uncommon bird! Its features is peculiar. The long feathers on its beak catch my attention. I dont know its name either but thats a good shot @fitinfun. Upvoted and commented by rubelynmacion of krypto
