How do you feel about these leagues?
I am only in the one by @abh12345. I found it about a year ago when I was pretty new here and paid close daily attention for about 2 months. At the time I was not posting even once a day and struggling to find my place here. I learned so much in those couple of months about how to curate and comment and I am so grateful.
I'm still in but not too active except to check how I am doing every so often. Since I lease delegated sp and self-vote I am a big loser over there now.
I recommend it all the time to new people and still use the skills today. The difference between .001 for all your curations and .010 is huge over time. The knowledge from this league is the reason many small payout posts get my votes and why most large payout posts do not.
How do you interact with people on the site?
- comment, comment, comment, comment - etc.
- request comments on my posts about 30% of the time
- reply to and upvote good comments on my posts
- use steemdunk to upvote 20 accounts automatically
- use steemdunk to check up on the blogs I auto-vote and alter as needed
- keep my sp above 90% most of the time
- use @kryptonia for one post each day and complete tasks for others many time each day
- vote for all contests in @qurator and interact in any other way they ask for
- stay active in about 10 discord channels for steemit tags, blogs and people
- enter as many contests as I can for sbi or steem or upvotes
- keep a twitlist of 350 steemers on twitter and rt people all the time from that list
- tweet good posts from the post option on steemit frequently
- post good posts to fb steemit groups
- write monday minnow tips weekly and send those to new people - tweet, and fb them
- ignore steemit controversies (for the most part)
- lease delegated sp so that my vote has a little bit of value
- don't vote for less than 0.03 most of the time

Do everything I listed above. Anyone can do this is I can and probably better than me :)
I think that what you say here is a mssive lesson for anybody starting out on the site. Especially when they say that they are not being payed or noticed.
While it's not about the payment we are all here in the first place because of the monetary aspect to the site. Over time most of us find a lot more here than that but it's important to increase sp as well. Something I have noticed is that the more time and effort I put in to other people's work the more reward I get back to my account.
Comment and reply. The two most important things that you can do here. I haven't heard of steem dunk before but I will be having a look at it now. The other thing that I liked from your post is engaging the newbies. It can be tough here starting out so the more people we can get committed to the site the better for everybody in the long run. We need to nurture these people until they get confident here and then hopefully they will do the same for the next people coming through.
