Steem Velocity Wants To Take Steem To The Moon.
At least in terms of registered users 🙄.
Scrolling through my feed a while ago, it hit me. Another hardfork? I thought we... Ugh! Never mind. This Steem train has no brakes and so we keep moving.
We can't stop now.
Talking of movements, HF 20 has got a nice name - Velocity. It sounds like the type of name I'd have given to my startup if I focused on programming instead of lazying around in my creative comfort zone.
After reading the proposal, I can say that this HF was aptly named and I have a smile on my face as I write this but i'm not here to tell you what you can go read for yourself 👅.

My Reaction To HF 20
Like I mentioned earlier, my initial reaction was more like "whuuuuuuut? We just had...". It was an incomplete reaction because luckily for me I regained my senses pretty quickly and decided to go through the post.
The first few lines/paragraphs were a breeze basically because they were written in English. There was a mention of the 2017 Growth Plan which always gets me excited, and the introduction to what Velocity would actually mean for Steem.
Easier account creation!
Boom! Open the floodgates! It's time to tell everyone about Steem! Are you ready to share the good news?
I, for one, am ready to tell the world about Steemit. Imagine being able to tell someone about Steemit and have them open an account before you leave.
Imagine not having to wait an entire week just to receive that final email from Steemit containing your key to the brand new Steemit account created just for you.
Imagine how many new accounts you can sign up to Steem with an improved account creation process.
I don't even need a referral bonus as an incentive, I'll push for a bigger/larger community any day!
You Had HF 19. Give The World HF 20!
Velocity is basically geared towards those yet to come on board and it's being pushed as the punch that will fling open the gates.
It's time for Steem to moon!
