Are You Using Any Steemit Rivals?

in #blog6 years ago (edited)

Nearly 3 years into Steem there are a handful of working entrants in this space trying to beat Steem at it's game. I'm not an active user on any of these platforms but I would love to hear about it from you.

I have however registered myself on Ono, Smoke.io, Peertracks for example to own this username but I haven't gotten around to using the platform. In some cases I liked the interface but not so much the experience so I didn't bother engaging further as my focus is on Steem.

But, I'm sure some of you are stakeholders on forked versions of Steem/it. So if you are using platforms such as Ono, Smoke.io, Scorum, Peertracks etc how is your experience?

  1. As a token holder
  2. As an token holder and active user of the platform.
  3. How is it compared to Steemit?
  4. What you like the most about the alternative platform you are using.

Look forward to your feedback in the comments below.

I registered on weku an whaleshares but just that. The amount of work to mantain just one acount and engage is to big, I can't do that pn miltiple platforms.

I did sign up for Weku @silvertop2 but I really want to just stick to Steem. I think we have something here, we just have Crypto growing pains at the moment.
I have a community here ( you @firepower included) and I interact with everyone, I don’t want to start over.
After awhile you start to connect two or more people together here, that is interesting.......... community @firepower! 😊

Smoke.io

It’s almost identical. Beside the fact it’s all about marijuana.

I registered myself on Weku and posted my intro too, even got good rewards but did not get that feel good factor that experiences on Steemit.
I think Original remain real, even if we try out any copied version.

You didn't get on weku, though?

I actually didn't sign up for any steemit rivals.

Thought about it.

Then I guess the thought went away and never returned again, haha

I have tried Ono, but to be honest didn't hooked me as steem did. I will check the rest as is the first time I hear of them

I have joined weku. Interface is similar to the Steemit but when you go through the posts you will feel the difference.

I have registered and used ONO and scorum.

  • I am still using ONO as it is very easy to collect ONOTs right now. I just repost what I post here. Engaging with the ONO community is somewhat difficult as many of the posts are in Chinese.
  • I stopped using scorum as I don’t have much sports related content. Scorum’s UI is good and it has the same voting system like steemit.
