Hintertux Park Opening 2017 (Austria - Tyrol)

Opening was successfully drunk blue - the weather forcast had looked mixed, but perfect conditions greeted riders who rocked up to rip the wallrides at the Alarm Clock Battle.

Two wallrides straddled the Alarm Clock of Power and it wasn't long before the bells were ringing loud. Standouts from the session were local hero Werni Stock' sick eggplants and backflip over the whole damn thing, Fabian Fraidl's handplant transfer, and Roli Tschoder1's fastplants and wall-to-wall transfers. Special shoutout to camera gentleman Theo Acworth who'd never ridden a wallride before but was throwing sick layback slashes right up there. Shaka!

Sadly after this the wind picked up, meaning the Session of the Dudes on the kicker line was a more muted affair, but Zillertal crown prince Werni ain't one to let wind spoil the party and was lapping like a badman stamping his trademarked style on some wind-assisted back 7s.

Conditions further down were perfect, meaning the test centre was popping, giving heaps of people the chance to test all the new snowboard gear. And when time was called on the hill, everyone gathered at the lift station in the valley for some Go-Shred grilling, beer pong, tunes and pump track sessioning.
