                                                             3) Sweden  

                                                                        

A funny and different tradition Sweden has is, kids dressing up as witches giving drawings home to home, earning sweats (treat or trick or draw and eat?)

Aside from that, some cool places to visit are Vasa museum, a world known one that holds the famous Vasa battle ship (1628) that sustained below icy waters and Lund Cathedral the most visited cathedral in Sweden that founded back in 1080 and the legend says Finn a giant had built it.

                                                      4) Indonesia   

 Didn’t expect that? Well, let’s find out why  

Indonesia has a large Muslim population but there are approximately 8 million Christians (a big number don’t you think?). In Larantuka Semana Santa (holy week) is celebrating with mourning over Jesus betrayal from Judas, The Virgin Mary ritual that they take her statue in order to bath and dress it in mourning clothes.  

Kure is another tradition by community of Kote that basically the believers gathered and walk and pray together like pilgrims ending it by offering money and food to god that later distribute them among everyone takes place or watch the ritual ( I don’t know how exactly if there are some criteria but this is happening)   

A good place to visit is Borobudur the biggest Buddhist temple in the world and guess what, an UNESCO World heritage Site       

                                                          5) Italy     

        

I don’t wanna get in trouble by saying places to visit as there are too many in there, the whole Italy is a historic place with a variety of roman buildings and other great things to see as well. Because Easter plays a big role in Italy as it is an overwhelmingly Catholic country there are a number of traditions you must see   

Celebration in Enna is of Sicily scent and it includes a bunch of hooded people dressed like their ancient ancestors and perform many things like a torching parade at Good Friday to a foot washing to holy Tuesday. At Good Friday they carry the statue of Holy Mary throughout their crowded streets while mourning music accompanies them in order to reach the Cathedral. After that the parade with the torchlights and hoodies I mentioned above is about to begin and more than 2000 people with that outfit take place into walking an approximately 4km from Dome to cemetery and come back ( don’t get frightened by the hoodies, they are kind people)

In Florence a really big wagon is moving throughout the streets by white oxen until it reaches the Cathedral while the Archbishop send a rocket in the cart igniting many fireworks and then a huge parade by people in medieval outfits starts.

I read many articles and saw many videos to come down to these destinations so I just want to say that these destinations are according to my personal thinking and in some extend experience too( I am talking about the upcoming part 3) so don’t take it personally. I bet there are many more great destinations that I am aware of so please let me and all the others who read this post know
