As you all know, since our Cultural Contest we have upgraded our prizes for contests and they have become certainly quite interesting, of course thanks to @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02 for their generous offer on this. As a consequence of this, we got way more entries and some users felt like participating in one of our contests for the first time, which was great!!

Still... as these prizes are so interesting, we have raised the bar and we expect more of you from now on!

So, what can you take into account to be likely one of the winners?

Here are some tips on what we pay attention to when reading your posts

💥 Pay special attention to what we're asking for!

Read very carefully the task and understand what we expect to read! This is vital, since you won't be likely to be chosen if you write about something that has nothing to do or that is barely related to the task!

💥 Lose yourself to writing

As we're a writing community, we expect to see good quality writing! You don't need to be a professional (none of us are...), but still you should be able to give us some good content, with no puctuation, spelling or grammar issues. It doesn't have to be in English, so try your best in every language you feel comfortable with! Let your mind flow and just enjoy the moment while writing, it'll also make it more fluent and interesting!

💥 Give us some shot!

An interesting post should have some pictures that are related to it! Whether it's a drawing you made, a video that's related to what you're talking about, some picture you took on your daily life... It makes us feel part of what we're reading and it also helps other readers to picture a mental image, which makes everything more interesting. If you're using someone else's work, please don't forget to include the source from which you took it from.

💥 Still... everything's not always about writing

We have seen some great, great posts that showed how much effort and work they had, so be careful and add some markdowns that might make the post look more interesting. A well-organized post and some headliners and formats will likely to catch the reader's attention more easily.

💥 And most important of all: be original

You post might be visually delightful with all the best pictures and everything... but we want you to be original. Try to come up with brand new ideas when it comes to writing and let your mind flow. We don't want any plagiarized content, of course. But still, you can always give your creations a twist by thinking about what you're willing to read and giving it your best. It's all about being really connected with your ideas! 🤩

💥 Presta especial atención a lo que estamos pidiendo!

Lee detenidamente la consigna y entiende lo que estamos esperando leer! Esto es vital, ya que es poco probable que seas uno de los seleccionados si escribes acerca de cosas que no están relacionadas o no tiene mucho que ver con la consigna!

💥 Diviértete escribiendo!

Al ser una comunidad de escritura, esperamos ver calidad! No necesitas ser un profesional (ninguno de nosotros lo somos...), pero aún así, deberías mantener cierto nivel, como tratar de evitar errores de puntuación, gramática u ortografía. Deja que tu mente vuele y disfruta el momento mientras estás escribiendo, esto también hará que la redacción sea más fluída e interesante.

💥 Todo es más interesante con fotos!

Una publicación interesante debería tener algunas fotos que estén relacionadas al texto! Así sea un dibujo que hiciste, un video que está relacionado, algunas fotos que tomaste... nos hace sentir parte de lo que estamos leyendo y también ayuda a que el lector se haga una imagen mental, lo cual hace todo más interesante. Si estás utilizando el trabajo de alguien más, por favor no olvides citar la fuente.

💥 Aún así... no sólo se trata de escritura

Hemos visto publicaciones geniales que demostraban cuánto trabajo y compromiso tenían, asique se cuidadoso y agrega distintos tipos de formato para que sea más atrayente a la vista. Una publicación bien organizada, con algunos títulos y formatos siempre hará que el lector esté más interesado en seguir leyendo.

💥 Y lo más importante de todo: se original

Tu publicación puede ser increíble, con las mejores fotos y todo... pero queremos que sean originales. Intenta pensar en nuevas ideas a la hora de escribir y deja que tu mente fluya. No queremos contenido plagiado, obviamente. Pero aún así, siempre puedes darle un toque adicional a tus creaciones pensando en qué te gustaría leer a tí e intentar conectar con nuevas posibilidades y horizontes! 🤩
