One Step Closer to My New Show
Yesterday was another big step toward our new TV show on Twin Cities MCN6: "The Periphery with Brandon Ferdig".
I'm excited as many of my interviews from over the years will have a second life on MCN. And then, of course, I'm excited for all the new interviews to come in their studio. My first guest? Vj Smith of Minneapolis MADDADS, who'll share all about turning lives around in the inner-city.
We will be recording episodes Mondays starting in March, with live-streaming on social media (MCN6 Facebook page and my YouTube channel), later to air on MCN cable channel 6 Monday evenings and uploaded to Dtube.
I'm on the lookout for guests. If you know anyone whose story we should hear or whose lesson we should learn, let me know.
For now, I'm preparing the pilot episode to air in February, introducing myself and this show to viewers with highlights from my best interviews.

Yes, it certainly is a beautiful and inspiring place :) Nehalem/Manzanita about an hour south of here and quite amazing too. I went for a walk around Black Lake--other side of the Columbia yesterday and not one other soul out on the trail.
Sounds like heaven. I just spent three days at a silent retreat on a 500-acre estate. We're "blessed" with bone-chilling weather this time of year, but there is a beautiful, enhanced silence in the cold air of the snow-layered grounds.
