In this Achievement3 task, I'll be talking about the word PLAGIARISM
With the following subheadings;
- What is plagiarism?

●WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

Plagiarism is the act of collecting or using another person/artist/creator's work for oneself without giving credit to the original owner/writer of such work.
This is seen as a great crime especially in the world of writing. It is stealing something that isn't yours.
●TYPES OF PLAGIARISM?
We have different types ;
-Direct plagiarism
-Self plagiarism
-Mosaic plagiarism
-Accidental plagiarism
MOSAIC PLAGIARISM
This is the type were part of a write up is copied, for example a sentence from the piece of writing is copied or rearranged.
DIRECT PLAGIARISM
This one is when its copied word for word, exactly as was stated.
ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM
As the word says, ACCIDENTAL, it wasn't intended. Could probaby had forgotten to quote the source site or misquoted.
SELF PLAGIARISM
This as states is when one copies his own previous work.
●CONSEQUENCES OF PLAGIARISM
It would tarnish your reputation. And would give you a bad name. You won't be trusted by the audience or readers anymore.
●HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM?
By CITATION .
Citation is quoting out the phrase you copied and the site where you copied it from.
Example;

Many people think of plagiarism as copying another's work or borrowing someone else's original ideas. But terms like "copying" and "borrowing" can disguise the seriousness of the offense ." Source
Doing this will clear you from being a criminal of the act of plagiarism. It will make you more trustworthy to your readers.
