INTRODUCTION

Hi! Happy new year everyone and welcome to this new year.

Good afternoon fellow Steemians, hope you all are having a great day. I feel so glad to be here and here I am making my first post which is my introduction post here on steemit.

BACKGROUND

My name is Emerald baby aka @favbae. I hail from Nnewi south LGA of Anambra state, Nigeria. I am from a middle class family and my parents are civil servants. I am from a family of 7, which I am the last child. I am a kind person by nature and also an introvert but, trust me, you will like to be around me always because I am not boring unlike some introverts.. 😂.. I am also a lively person. I am a graphics designer, voice over artist, content writer on Upwork, a freelancer virtual assistant and also a Chinese translator.

EDUCATION

I Christy group of schools where I had my nursery education, then proceeded to campus primary school. After then, I also attended Genius Secondary School where I wrote my WAEC, All in Anambra state. I am currently studying Microbiology in University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State

HOW I KNEW ABOUT STEEMIT

This is a very interesting part to me bc I really love talking about it. Prior to joining steemit, I have always heard about this platform, but never paid any serious nor close attention to it bc I already have a lot of stuffs occupying my mind ranging from my classes in school, and other online stuffs which I am engaged in. Then, on this particular day, my course mate that came to my hostel to gist with me during our free period and was just going through her phone, the next thing I heard was that a very loud/happy shout from her. I was eager to know what the matter was. So when I came closer, she now showed me the money she made from steemit and also her post, from there, I developed interest in this platform. She really preached so much about it and convincingly too, so I decided to give it a shot, and here I am writing my first post today. My friend @emumike invited me to this platform.
