21 Day Diet Challenge - Day 8

Hi everyone.

Today is better than before. I think it's a combination of things, one being my multivitamin/mineral supplement powder added to my smoothies, and another being, I think it just gets easier with time!

Spiralizer zucchini with pesto and tomatos.

The pesto was made from olive oil, fresh basil, fresh thyme, parsley, chives, onion, and not quite enough garlic. Added some balsamic vinegar and black pepper.

Then whipped it up in my tiny blender

Then tossed it all together with some cherry tomatoes.

Very tasty, and a quite healthy meal!

Anyway, we're off to watch Black Panther this afternoon, so I blogged this a bit early today!

Hi Dude , reading your last post and knowing what the first few were it feels like , you know what you are doing now , at the beginning you were a bit in unknown territory and unsecure , look at you now , knowing your supplements , doing fensey meals , and smoothies ?! when you get to day 21 you will not want to stop !

p.s.
Add celery to your smoothies , it helps your body to absorb nutritions easier.

Thanks Jules! I thought about adding celery this morning, but I didn't. I added cucumber. But I'll try that tomorrow morning.

Good job my friend, very nicely done. Glad that you are doing well on your cleanse. Keep taking the magnesium and use sea salt. Oh and drink plenty of water. That’s why you are a little lethargic.

Oh I've been drinking a lot of water! and especially while I eat. I was reading that if you're having cabbage especially you should have lots of water.

Looks so good and healthy. My wife recently made spiralized zucchini, loved it!

It's quite a tasty thing! I'll try it with a red sauce next I think!

I really need to try this!! I could stand to loose a few pounds!!

Give it a go! It was rough the first couple days, cause I was working away from home. But at home it's been good, partly cause I like cooking, sonI have tried some different things.
