21 Day Diet Challenge - Day 7

Hi everyone.

We are 1/3 way through this diet challenge today!

I'll have to change my name soon to skinny-elvis, as I just weighed in at 183lbs. That's a staggering 7 lbs drop. I'm not likely to lose that much more the rest of the diet, as I was reading that men would lose the most the first week.

Anyway, today I started the day with some leftover arepas, and fruit. For lunch we had broiled potato wedges and salad. For dinner we had avocado and tomato salad with some more leftovers.

It's very important for us to drink lots of water with this diet, and I've been drinking a lot of it!

Anyways, feeling fine today, even got in a workout using free weights this morning.

Thanks Conrad! You can do it! It's not easy at first, but it has gotten easier after few days!

OMGoodness, This would be so very hard for me... giving up meat alone would be a struggle, but i always like a challenge, especially mentally... this would take me to my limits, but I'm sure I would lovvve the results upon the 21 days. Keep up the good work, I will be tuning in to check on your progress!

Thanks skeptic. It's tough diet, but high in vitamins and fibre so it's doable, just the lack of burgers and beer is hard to take! Lol.

there is always vodka and some of the vegie burgers out there are actually pritty good.
are you trying to reach a weight goal or is it time based?

It's more a time based challenge, but yeah, I was hoping to reach 175lbs. The next 8 lbs are supposed to be harder to lose, but we'll see.

Ay good luck with that buddy, one meal I must say that’s good for you is oats in the morning, I don’t know if your fond with that , but I find oats really good and leave you full for long, I usually put fruits in mine and dam that’s a 5 star luxury breakfast for me

I like oatmeal in the morning, with raisins. But no grains allowed for another 2 weeks!
