• It the correction to the upwards was very short lived and we are already on the way down.
• Sign of a longer term bear market piling up.

News about the blog

• I need to revise my 2018 long term table. I need to add a 2018 and 2019 target an be more precise on the sentiment here. Will do that after I am back in Switzerland.

Analysts key statements:

Tone:

• Weekly: Remains bearish. We came back down from the bounce.
• Daily: He thought we had a 4 candle tradeable bounce to 7'800 but that is already over. He is expecting significant lower prices. He sees us at 6'000 very soon and than further down. He hopes that btc stays above 4'900 but everything else looks for him very unlikely. The reversal before 7'800 was a sign of weakness for him and confirms his bearish signs.

@haejin:

He made an update of his charts. He is looking at current price action and sees a probable bull wick with a turning point at 6'400.

An alternate scenario brings us down to 5'120.

@ew-and-patterns:

BTCs seems to test new lows. If low does not hold strong we likely see another wave down. Target is than 3'578. He is expecting this move not be an A wave which would lead to B and C (C ending lower than A) but a 2 wave as part of an impulsive move up.

@lordoftruth:

Indicators are fully on bears side. As long as the price stays above 5'947 the bulls still have a chance for a move in the bear market.
Todays trend is slightly bearish. Expected trading for today is between 6'300 and 7'600.

@philakonesteemit:

BTC test major trend line support which is established for month now. The range of 7'500 - 7'700 needs to hold. If we break below he is expecting us to retest 6'000. If support holds he sees a rally up.

@passion-ground:

He expects a slow shift from bearish to a bullish market. For that we need a series of higher highs and higher lows. For now he remains bearish but "less".

Definition

• sentiment = how in general the analysts see the current situation (bearish = lower prices more likely / bullish = higher prices more likely)
• target = the next (short term) price target an analysts mentions. This might be next day or in a few days. It might be that an analyst is bullish but sees a short term pull-back so giving nevertheless a lower (short term) target.
• support/res(istance) = Most significant support or resistances mentioned by the analysts. If those are breached a significant move to the upside or downside is expected.
• bottom = -> now renamed and moved to long term table. Low 2018
• low/top 2018 = what is the low or the top expected for 2018?
