Hi everyone!

I am Falco, 17 years old (turning 18 in one week) and new to Steemit. I study animal management in the north of the Netherlands and love music, books and films.

This is me:

Animal rights and sustainability are an import part of my life. At the age of seven, I stopped eating animals after seeing how cruel they were treated. That was also the start of believing in possibilities for a better future, for humans, animals and the planet. A few years later, I became politically active.

At the moment I have an internship at the Party for the Animals, a political party, in the House of Representatives from the Netherlands. I enjoy working for a worldwide movement for animal rights and our planet. I am also active for their youth organization, called PINK!.

Apart from my internship, I try to attend to a lot of demonstrations, lectures and other events. Last week I was at a demonstration against European subsidies for bullfighting. An estimate of 130 million euros is used to support this cruel tradition.
