Tron Users About to Get "Splintered"
I've become quite an addict in regards to one of the defacto applications utilizing the STEEM blockchain. Steem Monsters are soon turning into a successful brand name unto themselves. Recently, the team behind the digital card-based game not only announced an upcoming title change from Steem Monsters to Splinterlands, but are also branching out into another vast community within the crypto space. That being the TRON community...
And a great idea it would appear to be too as the more eyes you get on your product, the better developmental and financial prospects going forward into the future. It's common knowledge that the number of TRON users are huge in size. Plus they themselves seem to have quite a robust blockchain, giving further credence to a community like theirs being highly compatible with the game. Currently, they mostly have gambling or betting applications to keep them entertained so Splinterlands could really shake things up over there! It's funny because already I think the level of talented players is off the chain so get ready for things to get even tougher around here.
I've also heard concerned rumblings about the team of @aggroed and @yabapmatt and whether this latest move shows that they may want to gradually break away from the STEEM community. Well, look at it like this. Steem Monsters is, at it's core, a business venture. And a mighty successful one at that. Therefore it makes sense to maximize on the amount of people potentially interested in playing the game because from the sounds of it, this is just the beginning of what they have planned next. Might I add, the single player campaign being an element I most look forward to. But be safe in the knowledge that it's all coming and thus will go on to provide a much better gaming experience for all of us.
Those guys love this blockchain. I've met them both and can vouched for that statement. And bear in mind that even though TRON are joining us, the game will still be run on our blockchain. The future is looking bright indeed and we gotta count our lucky stars for having @aggroed and @yabapmatt on-board as part of the STEEM community. Look at the innovative ways they've pushed things forward for us till now. I'm pretty excited to see where we go from here. But from the looks of it, this is only the begin of many more great things to come.
I felt mixed about this when I first saw it but realized that more is better! Given the passion we often hear from the Tron community, I am excited to see some come over and join the battles! Not a fan of exclusive cards but hoping to have a chance to get them another way.
