Politics Has Never Been So Much Fun!
Politics... It's a funny old game. Especially in the economic climate we all find ourselves in at the moment within the UK. Yes, the European Elections just took place and the brand new Brexit Party led by none other than Nigel Farage himself, won by a landslide. And you know what? I couldn't be happier...
People always associated him as being a racist, due to the fact that he led the highly divisive UKIP party in the past. Now, whilst I'm not the biggest fan of that particular party per se, I did see "his" points of view as valid. In terms of limiting immigration and bringing back some independence and sovereignty to England. The delivery of that message may not have been the most comfortable to partake in but the discussion itself was a very necessary one.
Since then, he distanced himself from UKIP and led the charge for the actual Brexit for the people of this country. Well, we all know how "that" turned out. I was always one for trying out this new stance and thus supported Brexit however many celebrities and some very outspoken political groups called for a second referendum, based on the margin of the win itself. True bollocks, if you ask me. But hey, that's not really needed now, is it? As the people have made their views clear one more time and the results of the European Elections prove beyond a shadow of a doubt what they want.
I believe that "remainer" Theresa May had a lot to do with the catastrophic mess we've endured of it actually getting implemented. However, she is now considered a mockery and will most likely be remembered for three things. Being a shit dancer, balling her eyes out just before her exit and going down as probably the most unpopular Prime Minister we've ever had. All bases covered there then.
And then you've got Nigel Farage, whom many have ridiculed and maligned. Hell, some prick threw a milkshake over him and the bigots of this country were condoning this sort of behavior! A world gone mad, no doubt. But still, the electorate has spoken and you can't say that he'll do a worse job than May. Far from it, I think he's a man who stands up for what he believes in and gets the job done when needed. This is the turning point we've all been waiting for and for once, I'm not afraid of where Brexit will take us.
As the expression goes, "June marks the end of May". And thank God for that!
I believe that every country should have control of their borders. In my country, because the government does not have control of its borders, terrorism is thriving in the border, the north of country.
...And you should be free to express that view without being called a racist. Agreed, buddy.
Yes. Big ups to people who are able to speak their minds without fear of been called a racist or something like that.
