Visiting my dad - What an awesome weekend so far - part 2
With Bianca in Brasil I'm visiting my dad up north. I have been here only 2,5 days and we have done a lot. Visiting family, Grilling and Chilling, Played epic battles of Chess and went for a boat ride.
All accompanied by amazing weather.
Spending some good old time together is a true blessing. And the blockchain is a great way to store these memories.
Family asked us to come round and check out their new baby horse. 1 week old.
Horse meat is really tasty
Lol, I am joking. This is beef.
Using the BBQ as a fire pit to keep the mosquitoes away. Works great.
Boat ride, with my own Dutch Christopher Columbus.
Had Ice-cream half way. Exploring made us hungry.
Not one to wear a hat in general but between that and burning, I choose the hat.
Stopped for Trevor to cool off. He's having blast!
You can make anything on the BBQ. Here I used it as an oven for fish dish
Feet still hurt
Playing Chess. The best boardgame on the planet.
Sundowns are beautiful here too.
The name of the boat Trevor is looking at is called 'Enjoy life'. Couldn't really find a more perfect name for this weekend.

Cherish this moments and treasure them. You reminded me of my visit to my parents when they were alive. It's a blessing.

It's called boerenjongens in Dutch. It's basically ice-cream with alcohol and raisins with whip cream!
@exyle Are you from the Netherlands? My mother was born there but now we stay in South Africa! Love the picture of the steak. It looks very tasty. Here in Sourh Africa we call a BBQ "braaivleis" which means directly translated fried meat! Enjoy your visit and the company of your dad! It is priceless!

That looks so fun! In my opinion, there is nowhere more enjoyable in summer than a lake home with a boat. I am taking a lake vacation in August and will be sure to bring Steemit along. Great post!
