Steemit inc. on the State of Steem forum recording released.

I for one appreciate the increased communication Steemit inc. has shown towards the community as of late.
It takes away a lot of FUD which is nice.
Things I got from the interview:
There seems to be way more interest from Steemit inc. to work together with the community than ever before (@steemalliance). I'm glad to hear that, the community is this blockchains greatest under-utilised asset and a lot of the community is willing to go the extra mile to do what's best for Steem and it can be done on all kinds of different levels (from sharing a steemitblog post on your other social media feeds to complex development).
The current roadmap is: First RocksDB (lower infrastructure costs) and then SMT-Lite/Communities. It's planned for '2019' but there are no specific dates mentioned. I was surprised to hear SMT's again, I did think it was off the table.
@blocktrades worker proposal is being looked it but nothing final yet.
Better advertisement is coming to Steemit.com (You can already see it if you logout and check steemit.com). Adsense is fine, but cutting out the third party and sell the space direct is even better.

lol, been doing that for a while. Saves time thinking about it. Same for thumbnails.
"...more interest from Steemit inc. to work together with the community than ever before" - This is the way to succeed, just take by example the biggest games in the gaming industry; those who are performing the best are listening to what their community as to say.
It also felt that the community itself is getting acquainted with the changes happening between us and Steemit Inc. This is much better than what we have gotten in the past so I hope the momentum continues!
